Hi, I am Rhian Mai
a photographer from South West Wales, I graduated from the Carmarthen School of Art with a BA Hons in Photography. I now live in a beautiful part of the Brecon Beacons, Carmarthenshire. I have a strong connection to wildlife and animals, It's what gets me out of bed everyday. My primary job is working with and training rescued equines at Lluest Horse and Pony trust. I love to read, most of my books are based on wildlife and identification. There is nothing better than seeing a creature that I have not seen before and then reading all about it over a nice cup of coffee. I am an outdoor bug, It's my favourite place to be, looking at all the life around me. I have a really long bucket list of all the things I would like to see and photograph during my life and my aim is to complete that list.

My best friend as a child was a Border Collie named Roscoe. Looking back at the photographs my Gran took on her disposable film cameras I was given a visual gift of the wonderful connections I had with my animals. I have grown up with animals, there hasn't been a time in my life when they weren't present. Each pet played an important role during different chapters of my life and each has taught me a valuable lesson. I want to share the same experience of having the gift that was given to me by my gran. The gift of photographs with your loved pets. I want to create lasting memories of you with your animals, the bond that you share, the favourite places you liked to explore together, those memories that you can keep for a lifetime even after it's their time to leave, after what feels like only a short stay on this planet.The biggest mistake in the design of pets is that they don't live long enough. I provide a relaxed outdoor natural photoshoot with your equine/pet. Timeless images created of you and your equine/pet friend to cherish forever. You are not obligated to be in the photographs if you don't wish. Any sessions outside my 40 mile radius may incur travel expenses charged at 35p per mile. My photographs are professionally edited by myself and the prints you will receive are fine art giclee prints. I am kind and patient with your animals and make the session an experience to remember.
